Active Web Experience

Roydon incorporates contrasting mixed bushveld, grassland and highveld mountains  eco-systems that descends into a valley, forming an amphitheatre surrounded by the slopes of the enclosing mountain ridge.

The reserve hosts more than 60 animal species, 80 bird species including Martial eagles, Goshawks and Secretary birds and more that 150 different plant species have been identified.

In addition to superb game viewing from open vehicles with experienced Game Rangers the Roydon experience is unique in its offering of Horse & Hiking Trails and the wooded Mountain Bush Camp with swimming in the mountain rock pools.

An open Boma rounds of the setting and just enhances the splendor of a night in the African bush. A place to unwind in front of warm open log fires and share the experiences of the day.
