  • The reserve boasts more than 60 animal species, 80 bird species, and more than 150 different plant species have been identified. In addition to superb game viewing from open vehicles, Roydon is unique in its offering of Horse riding & Hiking trails as well as a wooded Mountain Bush Camps.

The Equestrian Estate is one of the latest additions to the Roydon establishment. 

We offer full livery with 30 top class airy, clean stables with 24 hour supervision. Lots of one on one attention with 2 meals daily. The horses are out all day grazing. We also have a Tack Room; Lunging Ring; Dressage Arena; Jumping Arena. There is tons of outride space with lots of game to view.

Lecture halls, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area as well as a natural Amphitheatre and large open Boma with braai.
